SPONSOR AN APPLE PIE FOR AN AMERICAN HERO!
Operation Quiet Comfort is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides support and comfort to wounded U.S. troops and those that care for them.
Throughout the year, we create and ship care packages containing Four Freedoms Gratitude Quilts – signed with messages of love, hope and encouragement from a grateful nation – GO Bags (transition kits) filled with items like hygiene and grooming products, clothing, entertainment and support from the home front. In addition to these care packages, we ship Staff Gift Shipments to help take care of the medics and personnel who care for our wounded – with items like good coffee, sugar, flavored creamers, healthy snacks and more. When requested by the units we support, we will often help fulfill special requests for items they are in need of throughout the year.
However, when it comes to the holidays, we would like to make these times a little “extra special” for all of these heroes – with something that will give them all a little taste of home while far away – since pie tins don’t travel too well around the world – we’ve found the next best thing – Montana Tom's Apple Pie In A Jar!
Our goal is to provide one for each person at the 40 units that Operation Quiet Comfort currently supports. Our goal - a total of 1200 Pies In A Jar! The cost for each Pie In A Jar (including shipping and handling) is only $15. Pies can be ordered through January 15th .
